Great place to watch a game with friends and family. tickets are a lot less expensive then the yankees/mets/red soxs; $14 gets you in the first row. also, since there not doing so well, you can go up the box office 2 hours before game time, and probably get front row tickets. has plenty of enjoyment for the kids; hi-ho d'adario kids cafe, promotions between every inning it seems like from dance for your dinner to racing BB (the mascot) around the bases. also, new for this season, after every game, people of all ages get to run the bases. parking prices can be a bit high, but if you want to save money, park on one of the streets (broad or main under the overpass), but just make sure to lock your doors & close your windows. another option (if your going during the week, or for a weekend game after 7), go down past the ball park, go under the train bridge, and you'll see the lot for the port jeff ferry parking. thats another alternative, and that lot is free of charge. enjoyanonymous
wondering.. -- 2006-05-19
I was at the Camden RiverSharks game on a field trip when they lost to the Bluefish this past Thursday and I happened to be on the Bluefish side when the game was over when they walk from the dugout to the locker room .. Well this one baseball player I swore his number was 35 threw his hat up to me and winked .. lol .. And I came onto the Fan Website to see if I could find him .. I was just wondering which player he was and what he looked like .. But when I signed on to the page that listed all of the players there was no number 35 .. The name on the hat said FINNY?? .. Can any1 help me?

On balance, I liked the place. With trains snaking around the right field fence and traffic on I-95 visible beyond left field, a weird optical illusion is created because the indoor arena beyond center field leaves the eye wondering whether train and auto are headed on collision courses. I also was very impressed with the friendliness and courtesy of all the staff. A couple of quibbles: Foul poles need to be higher (three balls were hit well over them at the game I attended and at least two probably should have been called fair but weren't). Also - not necessarily the team's fault - there is NO PLACE, and I mean NO PLACE, to go to have a drink or a meal before or after the game. The whole area is just parking, an Orwellian drab train station and a seedy bus depot.

Bluefish Games -- 2001-07-16
The atmosphere of Harbor Yard is very Bridgeport, but in a good way. The melding of the train tracks and the giant power plant over the RF wall adds unique style. The industrial park feel is a refreshing change from the cookie cutter ballparks that so frequent the minor leagues. My one suggestion is making the PA system louder and less garbled

comparing the bluefish to the l.i. ducks -- 2001-06-28
I find the ticket availablity much better at the Bridgeport Bluefish than the Long Island Ducks. New England Tours in Port Jefferson Long Island has a nice Bluefish package deal that is a good value. Is is much easier to get tickets for fireworks night at the Bluefish compared to the Ducks. I think because the Ducks almost sell out every game that they've begun to take the fans for granted. The design of the aisles and rows at Harbor Yard are nice too. About the only inprovement I would suggest is better lighting for night games- Rich Morgan
