A charming experience. -- 2001-09-06
Pulaski is another of those nice old ball-parks that recall earlier times. The original part of the ball park is the section of seats from the on-deck circle down to the left field foul pole. Originally, there was only temporary bleachers on the first-base side, and a permanant grandstand has been built there. Arrival at the park is a typical Appalachian experience---a road on a steep hill accesses the stadium and parking lot, which is hidden in a wooded hollow, surrounded by the forest.
