November 30, 1961: Traded by the San Francisco Giants with a player to be named later, Bob Farley and Eddie Fisher to the Chicago White Sox for a player to be named later, Don Larsen and Billy Pierce. The San Francisco Giants sent Verle Tiefenthaler (August 17, 1962) to the Chicago White Sox to complete the trade.

May 5, 1963: Traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Cincinnati Reds for Jim Brosnan.
