November 26, 1962: Traded by the Los Angeles Dodgers to the New York Yankees for Bill Skowron.

March 30, 1965: Purchased by the Cleveland Indians from the New York Yankees.

December 10, 1969: Traded by the Cleveland Indians with Luis Tiant to the Minnesota Twins for Dean Chance, Bob Miller, Graig Nettles and Ted Uhlaender.

September 1, 1971: Traded by the Minnesota Twins to the St. Louis Cardinals for players to be named later. The St. Louis Cardinals sent Fred Rico (September 14, 1971) and Dan Ford (minors) (September 14, 1971) to the Minnesota Twins to complete the trade.
