April 5, 2002: Traded by the Montreal Expos with Phil Seibel and Scott Strickland to the New York Mets for a player to be named later, Bruce Chen, Luis Figueroa and Dicky Gonzalez. The New York Mets sent Saul Rivera (July 16, 2002) to the Montreal Expos to complete the trade.

October 9, 2003: Selected off waivers by the Oakland Athletics from the New York Mets.

May 12, 2006: Purchased by Chiba Lotte Marines (Japan Pacific) from the Oakland Athletics.
