December, 1955: Sent by the Milwaukee Braves to the New York Giants to complete an earlier deal made on September, 1955. The Milwaukee Braves sent a player to be named later to the New York Giants for a player to be named later and Red Murff. The Milwaukee Braves sent Murray Wall (December, 1955) to the New York Giants to complete the trade.

August 1, 1957: Purchased by the Boston Red Sox from the New York Giants.

June 11, 1959: Traded by the Boston Red Sox with Billy Consolo to the Washington Senators for Dick Hyde and Herb Plews. Dick Hyde and Murray Wall returned to original teams on June 14, 1959.
