July 31, 1995: Traded by the Seattle Mariners with Marc Newfield to the San Diego Padres for a player to be named later and Andy Benes. The San Diego Padres sent Greg Keagle (September 17, 1995) to the Seattle Mariners to complete the trade.

July 31, 1996: Traded by the San Diego Padres with Bryce Florie and Marc Newfield to the Milwaukee Brewers for a player to be named later and Greg Vaughn. The Milwaukee Brewers sent Gerald Parent (minors) (September 16, 1996) to the San Diego Padres to complete the trade.
