November 28, 1967: Traded by the Minnesota Twins with Mudcat Grant to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Bob Miller, Ron Perranoski and Johnny Roseboro.

October 14, 1968: Drafted by the San Diego Padres from the Los Angeles Dodgers as the 20th pick in the 1968 expansion draft.

December 2, 1968: Sent by the San Diego Padres to the Cleveland Indians to complete an earlier deal made on October 21, 1968. The San Diego Padres sent a player to be named later to the Cleveland Indians for Bill Davis.
