November 6, 1976: Traded by the St. Louis Cardinals with Bill Greif and Sam Mejias to the Montreal Expos for Steve Dunning, Pat Scanlon and Tony Scott.

May 27, 1977: Sent by the Montreal Expos to the Cincinnati Reds to complete an earlier deal made on May 21, 1977. The Montreal Expos sent players to be named later to the Cincinnati Reds for players to be named later and Santo Alcala. The Montreal Expos sent Shane Rawley (May 27, 1977) and Angel Torres (May 27, 1977) to the Cincinnati Reds to complete the trade.
