February 8, 1956: Traded by the New York Yankees with a player to be named later, Lou Berberet, Herb Plews and Bob Wiesler to the Washington Senators for a player to be named later, Bobby Kline and Mickey McDermott. The New York Yankees sent Whitey Herzog (April 2, 1956) to the Washington Senators to complete the trade.
May 15, 1957: Traded by the Washington Senators with Dick Brodowski to the Cleveland Indians for Bob Usher.
