June 15, 1965: Traded by the Houston Astros with Hal Woodeshick to the St. Louis Cardinals for Mike Cuellar and Ron Taylor.

October 18, 1971: Traded by the St. Louis Cardinals with Jim Beauchamp, Chip Coulter and Harry Parker to the New York Mets for Jim Bibby, Rich Folkers, Charlie Hudson and Art Shamsky.
