April 29, 1975: Sent by the Oakland Athletics to the Chicago Cubs to complete an earlier deal made on April 6, 1975. The Oakland Athletics sent a player to be named later and cash to the Chicago Cubs for Jim Todd.

February 16, 1977: Traded by the Chicago Cubs to the Cincinnati Reds for Dave Schneck.

May 25, 1979: Traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Detroit Tigers for a player to be named later. The Detroit Tigers sent Sheldon Burnside (October 25, 1979) to the Cincinnati Reds to complete the trade.

March 4, 1982: Traded by the Detroit Tigers to the San Francisco Giants for Enos Cabell and cash.

December 6, 1983: Traded by the San Francisco Giants to the San Diego Padres for a player to be named later and Joe Pittman. The San Diego Padres sent Tommy Francis (minors) (December 7, 1983) to the San Francisco Giants to complete the trade.
