November 17, 1949: Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Boston Red Sox in the 1949 rule 5 draft.

August 18, 1952: Traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates with Ted Wilks to the Cleveland Indians for Charlie Ripple (minors), Johnny Berardino and $50,000.

August 3, 1960: Released by the Cleveland Indians.
