Before 1954 Season: Signed by the Cleveland Indians as an amateur free agent.

April 2, 1962: Traded by the Cleveland Indians with Vic Power to the Minnesota Twins for Pedro Ramos.

April 6, 1966: Traded by the Minnesota Twins with a player to be named later to the Boston Red Sox for a player to be named later, Russ Nixon and Chuck Schilling. The Minnesota Twins sent Jose Calero (minors) (April 17, 1966) to the Boston Red Sox to complete the trade.

December 15, 1966: Sent by the Boston Red Sox to the Cincinnati Reds to complete an earlier deal made on August 15, 1966. The Boston Red Sox sent players to be named later and cash to the Cincinnati Reds for players to be named later and Hank Fischer. The Boston Red Sox sent Dick Stigman (December 15, 1966) and Rollie Sheldon (December 15, 1966) to the Cincinnati Reds to complete the trade.
