December 11, 1962: Traded by the Boston Red Sox with a player to be named later and Pumpsie Green to the New York Mets for Felix Mantilla. The Boston Red Sox sent Al Moran (January 14, 1963) to the New York Mets to complete the trade.

December 7, 1964: Traded by the New York Mets with Elio Chacon to the St. Louis Cardinals for Johnny Lewis and Gordie Richardson.
