July 22, 1967: Traded by the Chicago White Sox with a player to be named later to the New York Mets for a player to be named later and Ken Boyer. The New York Mets sent Sandy Alomar (August 15, 1967) to the Chicago White Sox to complete the trade. The Chicago White Sox sent J.C. Martin (November 27, 1967) to the New York Mets to complete the trade.
