October 14, 1974: Traded by the San Francisco Giants with Ken Rudolph to the St. Louis Cardinals for Marc Hill.

May 28, 1975: Traded by the St. Louis Cardinals with Ray Sadecki to the Atlanta Braves for a player to be named later and Ron Reed. The Atlanta Braves sent Wayne Nordhagen (June 2, 1975) to the St. Louis Cardinals to complete the trade.

June 23, 1976: Traded by the Atlanta Braves with Lee Lacy to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Mike Marshall.

January 31, 1978: Purchased by the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Los Angeles Dodgers.

April 4, 1978: Traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates with a player to be named later and Miguel Dilone to the Oakland Athletics for Manny Sanguillen. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent Mike Edwards (April 7, 1978) to the Oakland Athletics to complete the trade.
