June 13, 1966: Traded by the Kansas City Athletics with Jose Tartabull and John Wyatt to the Boston Red Sox for Jim Gosger, Guido Grilli and Ken Sanders.

December 15, 1966: Sent by the Boston Red Sox to the Cincinnati Reds to complete an earlier deal made on August 15, 1966. The Boston Red Sox sent players to be named later and cash to the Cincinnati Reds for Hank Fischer.
