June 15, 1958: Traded by the Detroit Tigers with Ray Boone to the Chicago White Sox for Bill Fischer and Tito Francona.

June 10, 1961: Traded by the Chicago White Sox with Wes Covington, Stan Johnson and Jerry Staley to the Kansas City Athletics for Andy Carey, Ray Herbert, Don Larsen and Al Pilarcik.

December 15, 1961: Traded by the Kansas City Athletics with Lou Klimchock to the Milwaukee Braves for Joe Azcue, Ed Charles and Manny Jimenez.

December 3, 1963: Traded by the Milwaukee Braves with Del Crandall and Bob Hendley to the San Francisco Giants for Felipe Alou, Ed Bailey and Billy Hoeft. The San Francisco Giants sent Ernie Bowman (January 8, 1964) to the Milwaukee Braves to complete the trade.
