December 1, 1970: Traded by the Baltimore Orioles with Fred Beene, Enzo Hernandez and Tom Phoebus to the San Diego Padres for Pat Dobson and Tom Dukes. Fred Beene returned to original team on May 16, 1971.

November 30, 1972: Traded by the San Diego Padres to the New York Mets for Dave Marshall.
