July 18, 1924: Traded by Kansas City (American Association) with a player to be named later to the Washington Senators for Chick Gagnon, Bert Griffith and Pinky Hargrave. Pete Scott refused to report to his new team on July 26, 1924. Pinky Hargrave returned to original team on July 26, 1924. Kansas City (American Association) sent cash (July 26, 1924) to the Washington Senators to complete the trade.

November 28, 1927: Traded by the Chicago Cubs with Sparky Adams to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Kiki Cuyler.
