October 23, 1970: Purchased by the Washington Senators from the Cleveland Indians.

October 21, 1971: Purchased by the Kansas City Royals from the Texas Rangers.

November 30, 1972: Traded by the Kansas City Royals with Roger Nelson to the Cincinnati Reds for Hal McRae and Wayne Simpson.

June 15, 1973: Traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the California Angels for players to be named later. The California Angels sent Terry Wilshusen (June 19, 1973) and Thor Skogan (minors) (June 19, 1973) to the Cincinnati Reds to complete the trade.

April 30, 1974: Traded by the California Angels to the Kansas City Royals for Paul Schaal.

August 5, 1974: Purchased by the St. Louis Cardinals from the Kansas City Royals.
