March 19, 1974: Traded as part of a 3-team trade by the Cleveland Indians with Walt Williams to the New York Yankees. The New York Yankees sent Jerry Moses to the Detroit Tigers. The Detroit Tigers sent Ed Farmer to the New York Yankees. The Detroit Tigers sent Jim Perry to the Cleveland Indians.

July 31, 1976: Sent by the New York Yankees to the San Diego Padres to complete an earlier deal made on July 10, 1976. The New York Yankees sent a player to be named later to the San Diego Padres for Gene Locklear.
