Kansas City (American Association) sent a player to be named later and Fritz Mollwitz to the Pittsburgh Pirates for a player to be named later. Kansas City (American Association) sent Roy Sanders (August 26, 1917) to the Pittsburgh Pirates to complete the trade. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent Alex McCarthy (February, 1918), Ray Miller (February, 1918) and Ike McAuley (February, 1918) to Kansas City (American Association) to complete the trade.
