December 15, 1920: Traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Brooklyn Robins for Rube Marquard.

December 17, 1924: Purchased by the Washington Senators from the Brooklyn Robins.

August 27, 1926: Traded by the Washington Senators to the New York Yankees for players to be named later. The New York Yankees sent Garland Braxton (October 19, 1926) and Nick Cullop (October 19, 1926) to the Washington Senators to complete the trade.
