June 13, 1970: Traded by the Kansas City Royals to the St. Louis Cardinals for Cookie Rojas.

September 14, 1971: Sent by the St. Louis Cardinals to the Minnesota Twins to complete an earlier deal made on September 1, 1971. The St. Louis Cardinals sent players to be named later to the Minnesota Twins for Stan Williams.
