December 5, 1957: Traded by the Milwaukee Braves with Sammy Taylor to the Chicago Cubs for Eddie Haas, Don Kaiser and Bob Rush.

May 12, 1959: Traded by the Chicago Cubs to the Philadelphia Phillies for Seth Morehead.

December 15, 1961: Traded by the Philadelphia Phillies with Bob Sadowski to the Chicago White Sox for Frank Barnes and Andy Carey. Andy Carey refused to report to his new team on March 24, 1962. The Philadelphia Phillies sent Lou Vassie (minors) (March 24, 1962) to the Chicago White Sox to complete the trade. The Chicago White Sox sent Cal McLish (March 24, 1962) to the Philadelphia Phillies to complete the trade.
