November 17, 1947: Traded by the Boston Red Sox with Pete Laydon, Roy Partee, Eddie Pellagrini, Al Widmar, Jim Wilson and $310,000 to the St. Louis Browns for Jack Kramer and Vern Stephens.

June 15, 1950: Traded by the St. Louis Browns with Tom Ferrick and Leo Thomas to the New York Yankees for Jim Delsing, Don Johnson, Duane Pillette, Snuffy Stirnweiss and $50,000.
