June 15, 1984: Traded by the St. Louis Cardinals to the Atlanta Braves for Ken Dayley and Mike Jorgensen.

August 28, 1988: Traded by the Atlanta Braves with cash to the Pittsburgh Pirates for a player to be named later. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent Tommy Gregg (September 1, 1988) to the Atlanta Braves to complete the trade.

May 10, 1989: Traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the San Francisco Giants for Roger Samuels.

November 13, 1989: Granted Free Agency.
