August 31, 1984: Traded by the San Francisco Giants to the Chicago White Sox for players to be named later. The Chicago White Sox sent Mike Trujillo (September 7, 1984) and Pat Adams (minors) (September 7, 1984) to the San Francisco Giants to complete the trade.

April 1, 1985: Released by the Chicago White Sox.

April 8, 1985: Signed as a Free Agent with the Detroit Tigers.

May 21, 1985: Traded by the Detroit Tigers to the Baltimore Orioles for Papo Rosado (minors).

October 15, 1986: Granted Free Agency.

December 3, 1986: Signed as a Free Agent with the Texas Rangers.
