Rains. During an appearance on the Fox Sports Midwest pregame show, Mozeliak said an MRI taken Friday, June 11, showed progress in Pennys recovery, but at a slower rate than the team had hoped. Mozeliak said, He does appear to be improving but probably not as quickly as maybe we first estimated. I think we still need to be patient with this one. It likely will be another three weeks until hes back. Penny has been able to play catch, but he has yet to throw with much authority. Mozeliak expects Penny to start throwing with more force this week.
