My mental approach to this offseason was to get bigger and stronger, to really minimize my risk of getting injured and to be able to carry a bigger workload, because I know there's going to be a bigger workload expected out of all of us,' Cobb said. Cobb is likely to be a part of the team's opening day rotation.

SP Andy Sonnanstine, who was used in relief Monday, May 30. Cobb made one start earlier this season May 1, allowing four runs over 4 1/3 innings against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. In that start, Cobb was found to be tipping his pitches with a glove waggle, but that has since been fixed.
