December 16, 2002: Sent by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Detroit Tigers to complete an earlier deal made on November 25, 2002. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent a player to be named later and Adrian Burnside (minors) to the Detroit Tigers for a player to be named later and Randall Simon. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent Roberto Novoa (December 16, 2002) to the Detroit Tigers to complete the trade.
