Before 1953 Season: Signed by the Cleveland Indians as an amateur free agent.

March 16, 1960: Traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Boston Red Sox for Jim Marshall and Sammy White. Sammy White refused to report to his new team on March 25, 1960. Trade was voided and players returned on March 25, 1960.

June 13, 1960: Traded by the Cleveland Indians with Carroll Hardy to the Boston Red Sox for Ted Bowsfield and Marty Keough.

April 6, 1966: Traded by the Boston Red Sox with Chuck Schilling to the Minnesota Twins for a player to be named later and Dick Stigman. The Minnesota Twins sent Jose Calero (minors) (April 17, 1966) to the Boston Red Sox to complete the trade.

April 8, 1968: Released by the Minnesota Twins.

April 8, 1968: Signed as a Free Agent with the Boston Red Sox.

December 2, 1968: Drafted by the Chicago White Sox from the Boston Red Sox in the 1968 rule 5 draft.

April 5, 1969: Released by the Chicago White Sox.
