December 6, 1954: Traded by the Detroit Tigers with Walt Dropo and Ted Gray to the Chicago White Sox for Leo Cristante, Ferris Fain and Jack Phillips.

May 21, 1956: Traded by the Chicago White Sox with Mike Fornieles, Connie Johnson and George Kell to the Baltimore Orioles for Dave Philley and Jim Wilson.
