The Los Angeles Dodgers sent a player to be named later, Frank Howard, Ken McMullen, Phil Ortega and Pete Richert to the Washington Senators for John Kennedy, Claude Osteen and $100,000.

April 3, 1968: Purchased by the Chicago Cubs from the Washington Senators.
