December 15, 1961: Traded by the Los Angeles Dodgers with a player to be named later to the New York Mets for a player to be named later, Lee Walls and $100,000. The Los Angeles Dodgers sent Willard Hunter (May 25, 1962) to the New York Mets to complete the trade.

July 1, 1963: Traded by the New York Mets with Sammy Taylor to the Cincinnati Reds for Jesse Gonder.

April 7, 1964: Released by the Cincinnati Reds.
