February 5, 1965: Purchased by the Cleveland Indians from the Milwaukee Braves.

September 15, 1965: Sent by the Cleveland Indians to the California Angels to complete an earlier deal made on June 15, 1965. The Cleveland Indians sent a player to be named later and cash to the California Angels for Phil Roof.
