Before 1960 Season: Signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as an amateur free agent.

December 4, 1964: Traded by the Los Angeles Dodgers with a player to be named later, Frank Howard, Phil Ortega and Pete Richert to the Washington Senators for a player to be named later, John Kennedy, Claude Osteen and $100,000. The Los Angeles Dodgers sent Dick Nen (December 15, 1964) to the Washington Senators to complete the trade.

April 27, 1970: Traded by the Washington Senators to the California Angels for Rick Reichardt and Aurelio Rodriguez.

November 28, 1972: Traded by the California Angels with Andy Messersmith to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Billy Grabarkewitz, Frank Robinson, Bill Singer, Mike Strahler and Bobby Valentine.

March 2, 1976: Released by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

April 5, 1976: Signed as a Free Agent with the Oakland Athletics.

February 25, 1977: Purchased by the Milwaukee Brewers from the Oakland Athletics.

December 14, 1977: Released by the Milwaukee Brewers.
