December 9, 1953: Traded by the Boston Red Sox with Tom Umphlett to the Washington Senators for Jackie Jensen.

February 8, 1956: Traded by the Washington Senators with Bobby Kline to the New York Yankees for a player to be named later, Lou Berberet, Herb Plews, Dick Tettelbach and Bob Wiesler. The New York Yankees sent Whitey Herzog (April 2, 1956) to the Washington Senators to complete the trade.

February 19, 1957: Traded by the New York Yankees with a player to be named later, Rip Coleman, Milt Graff, Billy Hunter, Tom Morgan and Irv Noren to the Kansas City Athletics for players to be named later, Wayne Belardi, Art Ditmar, Jack McMahan and Bobby Shantz. The New York Yankees sent Jack Urban (April 5, 1957) to the Kansas City Athletics to complete the trade.
