The Philadelphia Athletics sent Jesse Hill (November 5, 1937), Bill Conroy (November 5, 1937), Hal Luby (November 5, 1937), George Turbeville (December 27, 1937) and Eddie Yount (December 27, 1937) to Oakland (PCL) to complete the trade.
