May 8, 1971: Traded by the Oakland Athletics with Frank Fernandez, Don Mincher and cash to the Washington Senators for Mike Epstein and Darold Knowles.

October 30, 1972: Traded by the Texas Rangers to the Oakland Athletics for a player to be named later and Bill McNulty. The Oakland Athletics sent Brant Alyea (November 30, 1972) to the Texas Rangers to complete the trade.

February 19, 1977: Purchased by the Texas Rangers from the Oakland Athletics for $400,000.
