December 8, 1899: Traded by the Louisville Colonels with Fred Clarke, Bert Cunningham, Mike Kelley, Tacks Latimer, Tom Messitt, Deacon Phillippe, Claude Ritchey, Rube Waddell, Jack Wadsworth, Honus Wagner and Chief Zimmer to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Jack Chesbro, George Fox, Art Madison, John O'Brien and $25,000.

May 30, 1912: Traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates with Lefty Leifield to the Chicago Cubs for King Cole and Solly Hofman.

February 13, 1915: Released by the Chicago Cubs.

February 22, 1915: Signed as a Free Agent with the Cincinnati Reds.
