July 8, 1965: Traded by the New York Mets to the Chicago White Sox for a player to be named later. The Chicago White Sox sent Jimmie Schaffer (July 26, 1965) to the New York Mets to complete the trade.

October 19, 1965: Released by the Chicago White Sox.
