December 15, 1961: Traded by the Kansas City Athletics with Bob Shaw to the Milwaukee Braves for Joe Azcue, Ed Charles and Manny Jimenez.

Before 1963 Season: Sent to the Washington Senators by the Milwaukee Braves as part of a conditional deal.

May 6, 1963: Returned by the Washington Senators to the Milwaukee Braves as part of a conditional deal.

September 25, 1965: Sent by the Milwaukee Braves to the New York Mets to complete an earlier deal made on August 5, 1965. The Milwaukee Braves sent players to be named later to the New York Mets for Billy Cowan. (Date given is approximate. Exact date is uncertain.)

October 12, 1966: Traded by the New York Mets with Ernie Bowman to the Cleveland Indians for Floyd Weaver.
