October 1, 1956: Sent by the St. Louis Cardinals to the New York Giants to complete an earlier deal made on June 14, 1956. The St. Louis Cardinals sent a player to be named later, Jackie Brandt, Dick Littlefield, Bill Sarni and Red Schoendienst to the New York Giants for Alvin Dark, Ray Katt, Don Liddle and Whitey Lockman.

November 30, 1959: Traded by the San Francisco Giants with Jackie Brandt and Roger McCardell to the Baltimore Orioles for Billy Loes and Billy O'Dell.

November, 1961: Purchased by the Kansas City Athletics from the Baltimore Orioles.

November 27, 1962: Drafted by the Houston Colt .45's from the Kansas City Athletics in the 1962 minor league draft.
