December 5, 1946: Sent by the Pittsburgh Pirates to Oakland (PCL) to complete an earlier deal made on September 25, 1946. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent a player to be named later and $35,000 to Oakland (PCL) for a player to be named later and Wally Westlake. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent Johnny Hutchings (December 5, 1946) to Oakland (PCL) to complete the trade.
