January 11, 1913: Traded by the Cleveland Naps with Jake Atz, Bert Brenner, Jack Kibble, George Yantz and $5000 plus the cash to purchase 3 pitchers to New Orleans (Southern Association) for Nick Cullop.

March 18, 1918: Traded as part of a 3-team trade by the New York Yankees to the St. Louis Browns. The Cincinnati Reds sent a player to be named later to the New York Yankees. The St. Louis Browns sent Lee Magee to the Cincinnati Reds. The Cincinnati Reds sent Tommy Clarke (April 25, 1918) to the New York Yankees to complete the trade.

January, 1920: Purchased by the Boston Red Sox from the St. Louis Browns.
