December 5, 1973: Traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Texas Rangers for a player to be named later. The Texas Rangers sent Bill Gogolewski (March 23, 1974) to the Cleveland Indians to complete the trade.

November 5, 1976: Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays from the Texas Rangers as the 39th pick in the 1976 expansion draft.

May 9, 1977: Traded by the Toronto Blue Jays with Jim Mason and $200,000 to the Texas Rangers for Roy Howell.

June 15, 1977: Purchased by the Atlanta Braves from the Texas Rangers.

December 13, 1977: Released by the Atlanta Braves.
