June 9, 1935: Traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Jack Salveson.

December 15, 1937: Sent by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the St. Louis Cardinals to complete an earlier deal made on October 13, 1937. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent a player to be named later, Bernard Cobb (minors), Tom Padden and cash to the St. Louis Cardinals for a player to be named later and Johnny Rizzo. The Pittsburgh Pirates sent Bud Hafey (December 15, 1937) to the St. Louis Cardinals to complete the trade.

July, 1938: Sent from the St. Louis Cardinals to the Pittsburgh Pirates in an unknown transaction. (Date given is approximate. Exact date is uncertain.)
